Scorpionfish

The fleshy appendages help to camouflage the large head and stocky body making this fish look like a pile of rubble. Once spotted it is easily approached. If it moves at all, it is very slow and it won't go too far. The spines on the dorsal fin are venomous and can cause very painful wounds. They can grow to be up to 14" and are easily photographed with most underwater cameras.
