Reef Octopus The behavior of this critter is very interesting to watch. They are first seen in a bright iridescent blue-green color but quickly changes to shades of red and white as it scurries away from intrusive divers. It takes on many shapes and positions to match its surroundings. These are common on the shallow reefs of Cozumel and are more easily found at night.
